Pongal is one of the most important and widely celebrated festivals in TamilNadu. Our School celebrated the Pongal festival with great joy and enthusiasm on 13.01.2026 in the school premises. As per our rich tradition, we began this auspicious occasion with the divine sound of “Mangala vathiyam”. Students actively participated in various cultured folk dance, Karagattam, Kummi, Oyilattam, Mayilattam. Another traditional events like Silambam, Uriyadi were organized to revive cultural practices. The Pongal celebration helped students understand the value of farmers, nature and our rich cultural heritage. The event ended with sweet being distributed leaving everyone with smiles and festive cheer.
